History: Preservation

OverviewDeedIntermentsPreservation

Throughout the Old Eagle School's long history, Trustees have been responsible for the care and maintenance of the property. This is still true today. Many friends and people living nearby give their time and support to the school. Grass is cut in the summer and there are special leaf-raking and clean-up days. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Garden Clubs have enjoyed helping to keep this old school ready for visits so people can se how things used to be long ago.

Donated time and energy is greatly appreciated but it only takes us so far! Money donated to the school is used for tree work, repairs to the stone walls, preserving graveyard headstones, repair and upkeep of the building, insurance, and other major repairs.

Help us meet our capital campaign goals by considering a tax-deductible donation!
